Hi Sathya,
actually i've been using edubuntu since the last 2yrs, Recently I got Vista preinstalled on my new laptop. I wanted a linux on it. Kubuntu was fine with the dual boot....but Edubuntu had some issues........
I knew i could edit menu.lst.......but was a lil sceptic abt it.......after reading your post, i decided to try it out and lo..it worked.
Now i have Edubuntu as well as Vista.
Thanks.

Well you can move the the block of text below Ubuntu's entry to make Ubuntu the default choice. I haven't tested this, as I don't have Vista, and I had done this on a friend's machine, who wanted to test how Ubuntu was, and is now hooked on to it :-)

Why would you want it to default to Vista? Wouldn't you want Ubuntu to boot by default and have vista only if you choose it?
